“Our Center of Manufacturing Excellence, commissioned last year, has significantly strengthened our production capabilities. The products showcased at IDEF’25 are a testament to how our engineering know-how is translated into strategic value in real-world operations.”

Mercan also announced a major investment in motion control systems:
“We’re launching a new production line for high-precision spur and bevel gears. Equipped with ten advanced machines, the line will be operational by the end of the year. This investment will not only support our group companies but will also contribute to the wider Turkish defense industry ecosystem.”
Highlighting the evolving role of defense technologies, Mercan added:
“Today, defense is no longer limited to military purposes. The sector now plays a crucial role in border security, disaster response, humanitarian aid, and civil logistics. At the heart of this transformation lies advanced engineering capability. Turkish defense technologies now stand out not only with their technical achievements but also with their deterrence power and contributions to regional stability.”
